Birthday boys!
Jared and Evan celebrated birthday’s this past week. Jared is 10 and Evan is 4, holy cow does time fly!!! Here are a few pictures of us trying to have fun without Dad :( Jared decided he wanted his birthday dinner to be at IHOP. Yay, I love IHOP! I was crossing my fingers he wouldn’t pick Chuck E Cheese…again…and thankfully I got my wish. So it’s our family tradition (I have no idea WHY though) that every time we’re at a restaurant that has Tabasco sauce/hot sauce, we take a spoonful and eat some! It’s fun! And by “we” I mean Tyler, Logan and Jared. There’s no way you’d actually get ME to do that! Jared asked for a campfire cake, so that’s what I did for him. I’m not the best at making “people in sleeping bags” but whatever, it tasted great!

Campfire!

Emma made him a card :)

Taking a taste....

Oh yeah, that's good stuff!
For Evan’s birthday lunch, he wanted to go to Burger King. Again, yay! The day before his birthday, he started telling me a story. He said “You are going to sing Happy Birthday to me. Then, I will open my present. It will be a chainsaw! I can cut down trees with it, like this….vrrrr vrrrr vrrrr. I will LOVE it and I will be so happy!” Sorry to disappoint you kid, but no chainsaw this year. Maybe next year ;) Logan told him I didn’t buy him one because I didn’t have enough money. Yeah…that’s the reason I didn’t buy a 4 year old a chainsaw for his birthday……Well anyway, Evan asked for a Panda cake for his birthday. I didn’t feel like actually making dark chocolate icing, so I just colored the extra white I had brown, so he’s not quite as dark as a panda, but whatever, we’re going to eat him anyway! Oh, and Evan named him Rufus, and he was delicious!

He loves his french fries

He tried for 5 minutes to do that, just so I could take his picture

Mr. Pencil!!!

Isn't he the cutest?

Rufus!
Sounds like you have been having fun! I love all the cakes and you’re right, the chocolate eyes do follow you everywhere!
